The Mountain Equipment Womens Firefox Jacket is a revolutionary 3 layer shell jacket with outstanding breathability and packability made from new Gore-Tex Active Shell.
Gore Tex have issued strict rules when manufacturing an Active Shell product to ensure the maximum breathability and minimum weight of garments. The maximum weight allowed for an Active shell product is 330g, there must be no more than 12 meters of seam tape and there must be no more than an A4 size of overlapping material. The usual high quality construction from Mountain Equipment easily achieves these specifications.
