Lowe Alpine Axiom+ Back System
This very advanced back system allows the back length to be easily adjusted on the move, 2 loops exit each side of the back system near the hip belt in arms reach, 1 releases the lock on the back while the other adjusts the length. The anatomically shaped moulded back panel features a supportive rebound foam lumbar pad and a lightweight spring steel frame to ensure the best distribution of load whilst retaining some flexibility, channels allow hot air to escape. The padded, rotating hip belt accommodates the body’s natural movement and allows navigating uneven terrain without loosing your balance.
Rebound foam: Rebound foam is a very resilient foam designed to return to its original shape after being constantly deformed for long periods. It is perfect for extended carrying with heavy weights and offers great support and comfort.
Load Zone: The load zone is a range of upper weights Lowe Alpine think a particular back system is capable of carrying in relative comfort. The Cerro Torre 65:85 features a load zone of between 25-32kg (55-70.5lb) (the rucksacks them selves can take more weight with less comfort to the carrier).
