Soft Shell Trousers

Soft shells encompass a broad range of garments, including walking and climbing pants, or as we call them – trousers. Many soft shell pants are harder-wearing than normal walking trousers and are much less restricted in their movement due to their stretch fabrics. Soft shell trousers also offer a higher degree of water-resistance, are more breathable, and are highly wind-resistant.

Soft shell trousers with their stretch fabrics make them ideal for scrambling, climbing and mountaineering, and they come in a wide range of weights and durability. They are certainly better to wear when the temperature drops, they dry quickly, and other than the heaviest of downpours, are far comfier than a pair of waterproof over trousers.
